What I do

Five fields. One motor.

Like gears in one of my machines, every field drives the next: the festivals open the doors, the stages fund the research, the research becomes art, the art goes on tour – and ends up in your living room.

2Takt Festival in Heidenheim every year since 2016, Lichtkunstfestival in the castle since 2024 with around 16,000 guests, and Beyond the Mountain in South Africa since 2024. Florian knows both sides: what an artist needs, and what an organiser has to deliver.

Stages and art for

In motion

Kinetic art is like music for the eyes. The pieces only come alive in movement – here is a glimpse.

Selected projects in detail

Delirium Festival

Stage design · Spain · 2023

Delirium Festival

A kinetic stage of rotating, laser-cut mandalas – warm wood by day, a pulsing light machine by night.

Every disc on the stage is built from straight cuts. In motion and under light they start to spiral, breathe and pulse with the music – the illusion becomes the show.

Animo Tulum

Stage design · Tulum, Mexico

Animo Tulum

Glowing kinetic mandalas on the beach in Tulum – from sunset to sunrise.

Backlit mandalas in turquoise, red and orange frame the DJ booth on the beach – by day an ornament against the Caribbean sky, by night a glowing, breathing light machine.

Saint Whoo

Stage design · Switzerland

Saint Whoo

Kinetic disc stage for the Saint Whoo anniversary – rotating patterns between trees and truss.

Large rotating discs hang between trees and truss. Each one is cut from straight lines only – in motion they turn into spirals, tunnels and flowers that seem to pull the dance floor into the stage.

White Pyramid

Kinetic object · Berlin

White Pyramid

A pyramid of spiralling holes – the light inside changes, and so does everything you see.

Dots and holes, like bits. Its appearance depends on your perception – a dark spot can become a bright one.
