FloWave

The selection

Two installations.
Endless motion.

The large, space-filling staging and its interactive sibling – on their own or combined. Transport, set-up and dismantling are handled by our team.

Installation 01

FloWave

Motion. Fabric. Storyline. –
Physics, made visible.

A row of kinetic sculptures makes light fabrics fly. Air, momentum and centrifugal force – forces that surround us every day and that we never see – become shapes that fold, open and close again in the light.

The installation follows a storyline: motion, light and colour build up, intensify and come to rest again. The room becomes a stage – calm, elegant and expansive, an image that stays with the guests all evening.

Installation 02 · FloWave Interactive

Interactive
Wind Energy

Renewable energy – technology you can touch.

Premiere · in development

We made FloWave interactive.

A project currently taking shape in our Berlin studio – the installation could celebrate its premiere at your event.

Visualisation · simulation of the planned installation46 seconds

  1. 01 · Speed

    The first control

A guest controls how fast the robot’s head turns. The spiral changes with the speed – from calm and wide to tight and fast.

  2. 02 · Tilt

    The second control

The second control raises and lowers the arm by up to 60° – without delay. The movement follows the hand directly.

  3. 03 · Spiral

    The silk responds

A small wind rotor sits on the head. The airflow drives it, and long silk ribbons form a floating spiral in the air.

The idea · Between art and renewable energy

A wind turbine you steer yourself.

A small wind turbine sits on the head of each robot. It works just like its big counterpart: moving air becomes motion. When the head turns, it creates a breeze, the turbine starts to spin – and the silk ribbons draw the invisible airflow into the air as a spiral.

The guests take on the role of the weather: with one control they decide how strongly the wind blows, with the other the angle it comes from. Within seconds you experience what wind turbines achieve every day – no screen, no explanatory panel, just your hand on the control.

The message behind it is simple: energy is everywhere – in every breath of air, in every gesture. You just have to make it visible.

Energy is everywhere.

Be the first

A premiere for your guests.

The project is currently being developed in our Berlin studio. Your event could be the very first to show this innovation – even before it appears at festivals and exhibitions.

The installation is modular: a single robot works as an eye-catcher at the entrance, several in a row become a course where guests play side by side, compare and get talking. There are six robots in total.

Good to know

Everything from one source.

Note: for set-up and dismantling we need accommodation for two people.
